Central Desktop's Collaboration Software Solution Now Supported on TriCipher's myOneLogin Service

Strong Authentication for Web-Based Social Technology Platform Available for Added Security

November 02, 2009 --

PASADENA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/09 -- Central Desktop today announced its leading Software-as-a-Service social technology platform is supported on Internet identity services provider TriCipher's myOneLogin service. By accessing Central Desktop's collaboration software solution through myOneLogin, users can interact, share and manage their daily work activities from the Web with additional authentication and protection against password attacks.

"As businesses continue to rapidly adopt the use of Web applications, it's crucial that they also take steps to ensure that their company information is secure," said Jon Brody, vice president of marketing at TriCipher. "myOneLogin makes it easier for Central Desktop users to access the files they need with strong security in place to protect their business critical information."

TriCipher's myOneLogin secure single sign-on is delivered as a service and combines the convenience of single sign-on with multi-factor authentication. When business users log in to the myOneLogin service, myOneLogin exchanges encrypted factors with the user's computer. This protects logins from password theft, phishing and other attacks.

Once users are connected to myOneLogin, they can log into all of their Web applications easily and securely from a single, central portal. Currently myOneLogin supports more than 2,000 Web applications with Central Desktop's business collaboration platform being among the featured applications.

"Security is always a concern since our client information is absolutely confidential," said Andrew Town, managing partner for Tandem Business Specialists, a financial services consulting firm that relies on myOneLogin and Central Desktop to support secure and efficient project management. "Because myOneLogin offers tight integration with Central Desktop and many other Web applications we use, we're able to work and collaborate online securely and easily."

"We take the security and integrity of our customers' data very seriously," said Isaac Garcia, CEO and co-founder of Central Desktop. "Many business teams rely on Central Desktop to manage their day-to-day business operations so securing their data is a top priority for us. By being a supported Web application on myOneLogin, we're giving our customers the opportunity to add an extra layer of security."

With no software or hardware to install, Central Desktop allows users to effectively and efficiently organize, share and collaborate on projects using only a Web browser. Central Desktop offers a comprehensive suite of online collaboration tools, including wikis, document sharing, task management, Web conferencing, shared calendars and micro-blogging. The Central Desktop platform also runs on a proven infrastructure designed to provide maximum security performance and reliability.

For myOneLogin users, Central Desktop is now an available Web application in their single sign-on portal. For more information about how to get started with Central Desktop and myOneLogin, including a free 30-day trial, visit http://www.myonelogin.com/affiliates.html.
